According to the New Orleans Police Department, the incident happened around 2:45 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 14. New Orleans high school closed due to social media threat NOPD officers said the suspect, 46-year-old Heidi Badeaux, told them that the victim was "being unpleasant with her." She then became agitated allegedly picking up a knife and stabbing him in the chest. Badeaux was arrested and the victim was taken to a hospital by EMS. He was listed in critical condition. NOPD classified the crime as an attempted homicide. No further details are available.
