Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker heads to the IR with left knee injury

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- NFL insider Ian Rapoport has reported that Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker will miss three to four weeks with a left knee injury.
Rapoport, via X, said that Butker is expected to have surgery to trim his left meniscus.

On the bright side, Butker will be back for the home stretch of the regular season and the playoffs.
There is currently no second, third or fourth-string kicker listed on the Chiefs' roster. However, according to ESPN senior insider Adam Schefter, the Chiefs are signing kicker Spencer Shrader off the Jets' practice squad.
Chiefs' safety Justin Reid has also proved he can fill in at kicker at times.
