INDIANAPOLIS -- Starting on Thursday evening, portions of I-465 near Lawrence will be undergoing lane and ramp restrictions, according to the Indiana Department of Transportation. From 9 p.m. on Thursday through 6 a.m. on Friday, INDOT crews will reduce I-465 northbound to a single lane between 30th St. and Fall Creek Rd. The ramp from U.S. 36 to I-465 northbound will also be closed. From 9 p.m. on Friday through 9 p.m. on Saturday, I-465 eastbound will be reduced to two lanes between U.S. 31 and Keystone Ave. Gov.-elect Mike Braun announces formation of transition councils From 9 p.m. on Friday through 6 a.m. on Monday, crews will reduce I-465 northbound to a single lane between 30th St. and Fall Creek Rd. Crews will also close the U.S. 36 to I-465 northbound ramp at this time. "These restrictions will allow crews to safely complete pavement restoration, bridge deck patching and joint repairs," the release said. "INDOT reminds drivers to consider worker safety by slowing down, using caution and avoiding distractions when traveling in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change."
