JOHNS ISLAND, S.C. (WCBD) – Low Tide Brewing, which produces award-winning craft beers made from quality ingredients, announced plans to expand its Johns Island operations. The company will expand into a 26,800-square-foot facility on Beer Garden Way that includes a state-of-the-art brewing system, and event space, and allow the manufacturer to meet demand for its wholesale products. “Low Tide Brewing is thrilled to expand our brewing operations in Charleston County. Demand for our products has grown steadily as we continue to strengthen our reputation in the community. We are excited to expand our capabilities so we can support our community even more while producing plenty of tasty brews,” said Low Tide Brewing founder Mike Fielding. With the expansion comes additional employment opportunities. Charleston County officials say the investment will create 33 new jobs and hiring will begin two months before opening, which is slated for mid-2026.
