BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- A Jamestown couple is facing a slew of accusations after allegedly fleeing the scene of a shooting and being in possession of multiple drugs, including over 60 grams of fentanyl, the U.S. Attorney's Office announced. Officials said a 911 call was placed in the early morning hours of Aug. 17 for a serious head injury on Victoria Avenue. A victim was found laying in a pool of blood at the bottom of the stairs, officials said. The victim, who survived, allegedly told police that someone named Billy had purchased a firearm from 38-year-old Jensen Vazquez prior to the apparent shooting. Vazquez was found coming down the stairs from an upper apartment while 29-year-old Kylah Seiberg was found on a side porch, according to officials. It is alleged that Vazquez suggested his e-bike was stolen in connection with the shooting. The couple allegedly fled the scene before a search warrant was completed. The e-bike, ammunition and narcotics including fentanyl, meth and cocaine were recovered. A handgun was recovered from Seiberg's vehicle, officials said. The couple allegedly remained at large in Florida until Sept. 3, when they stole a vehicle and drove it back to the Victoria Avenue residence. Vazquez was found allegedly hiding in the insulation in the attic and the two were taken into custody. Around 65 grams of fentanyl were recovered. In addition, a plastic bag with over seven grams of fentanyl was allegedly found hidden inside of Seiberg's body after she went to a local hospital complaining of stomach pain. The couple were indicted on the following charges: narcotics conspiracy possession with intent to distribute 40 grams or more of fentanyl possession with intent to distribute 50 or more grams of methamphetamine possession with intent to distribute cocaine using and maintaining a drug-involved premises Vazquez and Seiberg face a minimum penalty of 10 years in prison and maximum of life if convicted. The investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
