The last of three suspects implicated in a December 2022 incident of a stolen vehicle and assault has been sentenced to probation. Travis Allen Cameron, 44, was sentenced to three years supervised probation and fined $50 on a single count of felony aiding and abetting theft of a motor vehicle on Thursday in Mower County District Court for his role in the incident, which took place on Dec. 15, 2022. Cameron, who also has a conviction for fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle and receiving stolen property in Freeborn County earlier in 2022, will have to follow several conditions. Failure to do so could land him a 17-month prison sentence. According to the court complaint, Cameron was captured on home security during the incident along with Terrance Gustaf Book and Kenneth James Savoy, Jr. During a confrontation between Savoy and the victim, Cameron and Book are seen approaching. Book, who received the steepest sentence of the three of 60 months in prison for felony first degree aggravated robbery, is seen carrying a long-barreled firearm. Savoy and Cameron are then seen getting back in the vehicle the three arrived in as Book gets into the 2008 Jeep Liberty of the victim before both vehicles leave the scene. For his part, Savoy received two months supervised probation and fined $50 for felony simple robbery.
