FORECAST DISCUSSION:
Good Thursday Evening,
It has been another wet day today, with most of our area picking up a half inch to more than an inch of rain already today. The low trailing this system will pivot through our area overnight, keeping a few sprinkles in the forecast this evening into the early night hours. Because the low will be tracking to the northeast, we will have a very light southerly flow tonight. Along with plenty of clouds, expect temps to fall a small amount only tonight into the mid to upper 40s.
We will see mainly cloudy skies giving way to bits of sunshine on Friday, with highs back above normal in the middle 50s. Temps should remain near 50 for the FFN week 3 of the playoffs on Friday night. Expect slightly milder temps for the weekend, with temps back in the upper 50s on Saturday with some sunshine returning. Clouds will thicken up on Sunday with highs back in the lower 60s.
We will stay mostly cloudy to partly sunny early next week with highs in the lower 60s. We will be watching another weather maker heading our way for the middle of next week, this will push a warm front, cold front, and a stalled boundary into our area for the middle to late part of next work week. Initially, this will mean rain showers and warm temps on Tuesday with highs in the the lower 60s. Temps will fall with the front on Wednesday into the middle 50s with rain (which is still above normal).
Thursday, depending on where the occluded front lines up, will likely be at or below normal for temps, and still kinda wet and drab. As the trailing low kicks through our area, we could get our first real taste of what a normal November feels like by later next week into next weekend.
