WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- Detectives in D.C. are investigating a homicide after a man was killed in a shooting in Northeast on Thursday morning. According to the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD), just after 6:15 a.m. on Nov. 14, officers responded to the 1500 block of Benning Rd. for an unconscious person. There, crews found a man who had been shot. He died at the scene.
