Six Flags will close Kingda Ka, Green Lantern roller coasters to make way for new rides
Nov 14, 2024
Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey confirmed that it will close Kingda Ka — the world's tallest roller coaster — and two other rides to clear space for new thrills in the coming years. The park said it will shut down Green Lantern and the Sky Way gondola ride. Next year, Six Flags said it will open 'The Flash: Vertical Velocity,' which is billed as the first super boomerang ride in the United States, and will open another "multi-record-breaking" roller coaster in 2026.
