INDIANAPOLIS (WANE) - The Federal Bureau of Investigation is asking for the public's help to identify "John Doe 49," a man who may have information that's valuable to a sexual exploitation case. The man is described in a press release as bald with a dark goatee and between 45-65 years old. He has at least five visible tattoos, including the word "Dabby" on the right side of his chest, "197" next to some unknown text on his left bicep, and more tattoos on both arms. No charges against him have been filed in the case, the FBI said, but investigators believe he may have critical information on the identity of a child victim in an ongoing sexual exploitation case. Initial video of the unidentified man was recorded by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and is believed to have been produced on or before July 2024, according to the release. Anyone with information on the man should submit a tip online or call the FBI’s toll-free tip line at 1-800-CALL-FBI (1-800-225-5324).
