A $2.6M winning Colorado lottery ticket was sold in La Veta

(LA VETA, Colo.) — A small town in Huerfano County is now home to a millionaire after someone scored big when a $2.6 million winning Colorado Lotto+ jackpot ticket was sold in La Veta.
According to Meghan Dougherty, Communications Manager for the Colorado Lottery, the winning ticket was sold at Charlie’s Market on 214 South Main Street. The winning numbers for the Wednesday, Nov. 13 drawing were: 1-7-12-19-27-32.
According to the Colorado Lottery, the winner in La Veta, with a population of just 878, can also choose to take a cash lump sum of $1.3 million.

"The biggest Colorado Lotto+ jackpot to date was a whopping $25 million, won in January 2022," wrote Dougherty. "The overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 30, while the odds of hitting the jackpot are 1 in 3.84 million."
