(U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo.) — Hotel Polaris, the brand new hotel at the U.S. Air Force Academy (USAFA) officially opened its doors on Thursday, Nov. 14 in Colorado Springs. On Thursday, several City and business leaders attended the launch celebration, which officially kicked off at 10 a.m. and included a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house. Guests were entertained by the Academy’s Aerodynamics acapella group and there was also a Color Guard presentation by the Air Force Academy Prep School. Colorado Springs Mayor Yemi Mobolade, Curtis Bova, General Manager of Hotel Polaris, and Mark Hille, President of the USAFA Association of Graduates and Air Force Academy Foundation, were among the expected speakers at Thursday's opening day event.
