MINT HILL, NC – A man is dead and a woman is hurt following what police are calling a domestic situation in Mint Hill. The shooting happened in the driveway of a home on Auburn Whisper Lane, just after 7:30 Thursday morning. Mint Hill Police say they received multiple 911 calls about the shooting. Police say the two victims were in a relationship and that the man appears to have shot and killed himself. The woman is at the hospital being treated for serious, but non-life threatening injuries. The names of the people involved have not been released.
