BISMARCK, ND (KXNET) — A man is now facing jail time after investigators say they found inappropriate content involving children on his phone.
North Dakota BCI agents say they received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, who told them that someone at a home in north Bismarck had been sharing nude video messages of girls under 18. On Friday, investigators got a search warrant and showed up at the home, where they arrested Tjaden Richter.

They believe Richter had been sending the messages using the Kik messenger app. Investigators say they matched up a selfie photo Richter had taken on the app, and compared it to his driver's license picture. He's now charged with four felony counts, including Promoting or Directing an Obscene Sexual Performance by a Minor and Possession of Certain Materials Prohibited.
Richter was in court this week and has since posted bond. His trial is currently scheduled for January 29.
