AUSTIN (KXAN) -- The Austin Police Department's Office of Police Oversight (OPO) is holding its quarterly meeting Thursday evening to share updates with the public.
The quarterly meetings occur so the Police Oversight Implementation Workgroup can share complaints data and other updates with the community. This upholds the requirements set by City Council Resolution 99, according to a release from the OPO.
The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. at the Cepeda Branch Library (651 N. Pleasant Valley Rd., Austin, TX 78702). Those interested in participating can register online to reserve a spot.
The event will be presented in English, Spanish, and American Sign Language (ASL). Additional interpretation services and accessibility accommodations are available upon request.
