Today we start off with chilly lows near 30 and with a light wind, it feels like the lower 20s inland. Even though we will have abundant sunshine, temperatures will only warm into the 40s, a good 5 degrees cooler than average. Dry conditions will mean an elevated fire weather concern as brush fires can catch easily, spread fast and be hard to contain. Outdoor burning is strongly discouraged and careful disposal of smoking materials and other incendiary items. Cold air continues through tonight as lows once again drop to near 30. Friday will be sunny and dry with a change in the wind direction, temperatures will top out well in the 50s. A warming trend will take high temps into the 60s this weekend and even into Monday! Looking into next week, dry air continues to dominate with no appreciable rainfall in sight. Temperatures Tuesday and Wednesday will top in the upper-50s.
