Areas of rain or drizzle remain across the state this morning, under heavier clouds and mild temperatures. Expect out-the-door readings in the 50s, well above the average morning lows for this time of the year (35°). Roads are slick, so a few extra minutes to work or school wouldn't hurt! Today will remain rather cloudy and damp, as pockets of light rain will drift off and on through the state until this evening, before drier air punches back in. Expect little movement in temperatures through the day, with highs reaching the upper 50s. Winds today will blow from the west, southwest at 7-14 mph. Additional rainfall totals today should remain below 0.10" for most. Clouds will likely loom heavily on Friday before breaking in the afternoon, ending on a bright note to finish off workweek. Regional high school football games tomorrow look dry but will cool after sunset. This upcoming weekend will bring drier and milder air! A small, weak shower chance remains on Sunday with a frontal boundary nearby.
