3 arrested for burglary of coin operating machine in Clint

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) - Three people were arrested on Sunday, Nov. 10 after burglarizing a coin operating machine in Clint, according to the El Paso County Sheriff's Office (EPCSO).
At 6:53 a.m. on Nov. 10, deputies were dispatched to Clint Laundromat, 13178 Alameda Ave., about a burglary in progress.
Upon arrival, deputies located a vehicle in the area matching the description provided and detained Claudia Cardenas, 37, and Lorraine Allen, 29, according to EPCSO.
EPCSO said deputies then located Jesus Vargas, 29, who was on foot attempting to conceal himself nearby.
Surveillance footage revealed that all three subjects were involved in burglarizing a coin machine at the business. A burglary tool and several coins were located inside the vehicle, according to EPCSO.
The three subjects were subsequently taken into custody and booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility without incident.
Cardenas was charged with burglary of a coin operating machine and failure to identify giving false/fictitious information; Allen was charged with burglary of a coin operating machine; and Vargas was charged with burglary of a coin operating machine and possession of a controlled substance, according to EPCSO.
