New Orleans Saints preparing for former quarterback Jameis Winston

METAIRIE, La. (BRPROUD) — For four seasons, quarterback Jameis Winston got to feel the love from Who Dat Nation. Sunday might be a different reception than he’s used to as he makes his return to the Superdome as the starting quarterback for the Cleveland Browns.
Cleveland head coach Kevin Stefanski announced Monday that Winston would remain the team’s starter Sunday after coming off the bye week. Winston joined the Browns in free agency, becoming Deshaun Watson's back up.
Winston has since taken over since Watson suffered a season-ending Achilles injury.
In two games, Winston’s performance has been a rollercoaster. He threw three touchdowns in a game to upset the Ravens but followed it up by throwing three interceptions against the Chargers in a brutal loss.
The Saints say they know what to expect from Winston come Sunday.

“Listen, Jameis is going to be fired up no matter what," Saints interim head coach Darren Rizzi said. "He's going to be even more fired up to come back here and play against us, for sure. I mean, he's friends with a lot of those guys in the locker room. He developed so many relationships within this building. He'll be, a little bit more fired up to play in the Superdome. So, it'd be great to see him and certainly be a challenge to play against."
“He's one of the greatest teammates I've ever had in my life," Saints quarterback Derek Carr said. "I love Jameis. He's an amazing teammate and he's a guy that you just always root for. I know he'll be excited to play, to come back and play here. It's your old team, you got friends on the team. That's fun. He'll be excited. But knowing Jameis, he's not going to treat it any different than any other game.”
