2 men face drug charges after Ascension Parish deputies seize fentanyl, cocaine, marijuana

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office arrested two men in connection to a multi-agency drug investigation.
Detectives with APSO's Narcotics Unit, along with the help of the Gonzales Police Department, the Assumption Parish Sheriff's Office and the Baton Rouge DEA's Office, started investigating Leroy Joseph Manor, 39, and Jeremiah Julien Millien, 44, after they received information of illegal drug activity, according to APSO.
Following a months-long investigation, detectives conducted search warrants at locations within Donaldsonville, Geismar and Gonzales. According to APSO, the following items were seized.
64 grams of fentanyl
58 grams of methamphetamine
10 grams of cocaine
25 grams of crack cocaine
31 dosage units of Oxycodone
100 dosage units of Hydrocodone
21 grams of marijuana
One dosage unit of Suboxone
22 fluid ounces of Promethazine
60 dosage units of Xanax

Manor was arrested and charged with possession of Schedule II CDS (Oxycodone), sale distribution, or possession of a legend drug (Promethazine), possession with the intent to distribute Schedule II CDS (Xanex) and possession with the intent to distribute Schedule II CDS (fentanyl).
Millien was arrested and charged with possession with the intent to distribute Schedule II CDS (methamphetamine), possession with the intent to distribute Schedule II CDS (marijuana), possession with the intent to distribute Schedule II CDS (fentanyl), possession with the intent to distribute Schedule II CDS (crack cocaine), possession with the intent to distribute Schedule II CDS (cocaine), possession with the intent to distribute Schedule II CDS (Oxycodone), possession with the intent to distribute Schedule II CDS (Hydrocodone), possession with the intent to distribute Schedule II CDS (fentanyl), sale, distribution, or possession of a legend drug (Promethazine), possession of a Schedule III CDS (Suboxone), possession of drug paraphernalia, illegal carrying of weapons with CDS and possession of a firearm by a person convicted of certain felonies.
