BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- Eleven Kern County schools remain in the hunt for a CIF Valley football championship. In Division I-A, three Bakersfield schools -- Bakersfield, Frontier, Centennial -- make up the semifinal round. Frontier hosts Centennial, while Bakersfield hosts Arroyo Grande on Friday night. Bakersfield Christian comes off its opening round bye and hosts St. Joseph. In Division IV, Shafter hosts North while 10-seed South gets to host its matchup against 15-seeded Roosevelt. Kennedy, Delano, Mira Monte and Boron all travel for their games Friday.
