CHARLES COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- Police in Charles County said a 77-year-old man died after he crashed into a pole in Indian Head on Tuesday. According to the Charles County Sheriff's Office (CCSO), just after 4:30 p.m., officers responded to the 5900 block of Bicknell Road for a single-car crash. A preliminary investigation revealed that Stewart was driving on Bicknell Road when his car left the roadway, striking a telephone pole, according to the sheriff's office.
