ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — ESL Federal Credit Union announced $7.4 million in grants to local organizations through the third quarter of 2024 Wednesday.
According to ESL, the 105 grants were distributed to organizations which "help individuals and families succeed in different areas of their lives.”
ESL named a few of the organizations Wednesday, including:
Wayne County Action Program Inc — $750,000
The STEADY Work Youth Build Expansion Project
The Center for Youth Services — $335,000
Monroe County Community Schools Support
Ibero American Action League — $255,000
Workforce Development Enhancement at the Community Resource Center
Hobart and William Smith Colleges — $152,000
Creating Cradle to Career Systems Change in Geneva
Sodus Central School District — $47,900
Gathering to Dream & Learn: A Community Engagement through Placemaking (Community Schools initiative)
