AVENAL, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - The Kings County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in identifying two subjects wanted in connection with an Avenal homicide from last year. The sheriff's office says on Oct. 28, 2023, sheriff detectives responded to the area of E. Madera Street and S. Third Avenue in Avenal to investigate a homicide that occurred a night prior. According to the sheriff's office, the victim who was identified as Juan "Blacky" Carlos Alonzo, was found unresponsive in his wheelchair and later pronounced deceased at the scene. The Kings County Sheriff's Office says through investigative leads from the community, detectives were able to establish composite sketches of the two suspects involved.
