Central NY man accused of threatening to kill his mother and police

Onondaga, N.Y. — A 31-year-old was arrested in the town of Onondaga after he threatened to harm his mother and police, troopers said.Bryan D. Poppenger on Saturday threatened to cut his mother and break her limbs as well as made threats of starting an arson fire, troopers said in an emergency risk protection order filed to the Supreme Court of Onondaga on Saturday.
