NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The chance for severe weather is moving east Wednesday evening along with the heavier storms. We will likely see one more band of rain, especially north of I-10, move through this evening ahead of the cold front as it pushes in from the west. Much more seasonable conditions will be moving in for the end of the week. Look for highs in the 70s through the weekend with lows dipping into the 50s and even some upper 40s in the northern areas by Friday morning. We will see breezy conditions Thursday with winds out of the northwest around 10-15. In the Caribbean we now have Potential Tropical Cyclone 19 which will likely become Sara. This will meander around for a few days before turning north to the Gulf next week. At that point the track will depend on the intensity of the storm and how fast a cold front is pushing in from the west. It's still very early to know the details, so continue to follow along.
