Drug operation investigation leads to arrest in Tangipahoa Parish

TANGIPAHOA PARISH. La. (WGNO) — A Robert man is in police custody after a drug operation investigation in Tangipahoa Parish.
TPSO Narcotics detectives and DEA special agents with the New Orleans Field Office collaborated after reportedly intercepting a 5 lbs package of Crystal Methamphetamine aka "ICE" worth about $80,000.

Agents claimed the package was headed to the home of 24-year-old Gerald Toney Jr.

During a search of his home on Wednesday, Nov. 6, agents reported finding marijuana, digital scales, packaging material, cash, an AR-15-style rifle, magazines and ammunition.
Toney was arrested and booked on charges of possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of a firearm with a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
