Fatal wreck on Walnut Grove in Shelby Farms

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — One person is dead after a wreck on Walnut Grove in Shelby Farms, Memphis Police said Wednesday evening. Westbound lanes of Walnut Grove were closed at Farm Road at 3:40, causing a major backup on a rainy rush hour. Police said the wreck involved two vehicles. They located a male victim. He was taken to Regional One where he was pronounced dead.
