MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Police are looking for a man they say robbed a grandmother and threatened to shoot her grandchildren at the Hickory Hill Community Center, then targeted another woman the next day. The first robbery happened at 2:35 Monday afternoon at the center at 3910 Ridgeway Road. A woman and her grandchildren were at the playground behind the center when a man in dark clothing approached. The man tried to sell a bike to the woman, police said. When she refused, he reached into his waistband, implying he had a weapon, and threatened to shoot the children if the woman didn't give him her keys. Tuesday morning around 10:30, another woman told police she was walking on a trail behing the community center when the same suspect came up to her with both hands in his waistband, demanding her property.
