WAYNE COUNTY, Ind. -- A search warrant in Wayne County has led to the arrest of five individuals on numerous drug-related felony charges. Deputies with the Wayne County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant at a residence located in the 15000 block of Dalton Road in the town of Hagerstown as part of an investigation into the alleged distribution of narcotics. After gaining entry to the residence, WCSO said authorities located a woman identified as Kristi Talbott hiding in a room hidden behind a shelving unit. WCSO said detectives recovered a large volume of narcotics while carrying out the search warrant, including enough fentanyl to cause around "18,000 lethal does", methamphetamine, cocaine and multiple prescription pills. Authorities also located four firearms. Dallas Crawford, 43, of Hagerstown was arrested and charged with the following preliminary offenses: Dealing schedule I, II, or III substance (Level 2 felony) Dealing cocaine or narcotic drug (Level 2 felony) Possession of firearm by a serious violent felon (Level 4 felony) Assisting a criminal (Level 6 felony) Visiting a common nuisance (Misdemeanor) Possession of paraphernalia (Misdemeanor) Booking photo of Dallas Crawford provided by Wayne County Sheriff's Office. Kristi Talbott, 44, of Moreland was charged with the following preliminary offenses: Dealing schedule I, II, or III substance (Level 2 felony) Dealing cocaine or narcotic drug (Level 2 felony) Maintaining a common nuisance (level 6 felony) Talbott is also being held on outstanding warrants from Randolph and Henry Counties. Charles Michael Owens of Sulpher Springs, Stephanie Benson of Hagerstown and Robert Sanders of Hagerstown were each preliminary charged with a misdemeanor of visiting a common nuisance (controlled substances). Troopers with the Indiana State Police also assisted in the investigation. "Thanks to the relentless efforts of our investigators, working side-by-side with the Indiana State Police, we’ve successfully removed dangerous narcotics from our streets and apprehended individuals engaged in drug distribution and criminal activities.
