GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) — The Green Bay Metro Fire Department partnered with Fleet Farm for a community initiative to assist animals rescued from fire-related incidents. According to a release, in 2023, the Wisconsin Humane Society provided care and shelter to 123 animals affected by fires. This year, with a $600 donation from Fleet Farm and an additional $400 from the Green Bay Metro Fire Fighters Charities, the Green Bay Metro Fire Department purchased essential supplies for the humane society’s Green Bay location.
