Cyber tip leads to child pornography arrest in Wisconsin

SEXTONVILLE, Wis. (WFRV) — A cyber tip from the Wisconsin Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force led to the arrest of a 28-year-old man for allegedly possessing child pornography.
According to a release, the Richland County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant in Lone Rock on Wednesday morning.

Deputies arrested Scott W. Pfeil, 28, on charges of possessing child pornography and felony bail jumping. Pfeil has not yet been officially charged in the Wisconsin Circuit Court system, though charges are expected in the coming days.
At the time of the arrest, Pfeil was under a diversion agreement in Richland County for similar offenses reported in 2021. A diversion agreement outlines specific terms and conditions that a defendant must meet to have charges dismissed.
