COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)–FEMA has several local disaster recovery centers open to help those still affected by hurricane Helene. In Lexington County, the Disaster Recovery Center at the Batesburg-Leesville Fire station on West Church Street is open from 8 to 7 p-m through November 22. In Fairfield county, the Disaster Recovery Center is open Tuesday and Wednesday from 8am to 7pm at the Boykin Recreation Center in Winnsboro. It will also be open November 17 from 3pm-6pm and November 18-21 from 8am-7pm.
