Photo by Rey Del Rio/Getty Images Last month, a couple shared Detroit Lions vows at their wedding. The video is incredible. As I’m sure most of you can attest to, being a Detroit Lions fan can sometimes feel like a full-time lifestyle. The NFL has done such a good job promoting the game as a year-round event, even if football itself is only played for five months out of the year. And as we keep learning during every Detroit Lions away game, there is no one out there as devoted to their fandom than Lions fans. Nothing is more reflective of that passion than these wedding vows shared by bride-to-be Leah Crockett explaining to her soon-to-be husband Zach Landis how she is ready to fully commit to accepting his Lions fandom as part of their lifetime bond. “I promise to support and cherish your deep, deep, deep—some may even call it an obsession—love for the Detroit Lions for the rest of our lives,” Leah begins. “This includes encouraging you to take annual trips with the boys to Lions games and listening to your year-round Lions podcast on our 11-hour drive to New York to see my family. I promise to stand by you in the good time and the bad, AKA any Lions losses that occur on Sundays, Mondays, or Thursdays throughout the season.” The official Detroit Lions Twitter account shared the funny and heartwarming video.
