ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Pfisterer, known as a global leader in electrical engineering, is celebrating the grand opening of its first manufacturing facility in North America. It's here in Gates. The company says it's driven by the global transition to renewable energies and more specifically, significant growth in the offshore wind industry. This expansion includes an $8 million capital investment and will create 36 new jobs in the initial phase with more to come.
