GEARY COUNTY (KSNT) - A woman from Junction City was seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash on Tuesday.
At 5:54 a.m., a 38-year-old woman who was driving a 2003 Dodge Neon was rear-ended on westbound I-70 south of Junction City. The woman's vehicle left the road and hit a tree, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol (KHP).
The KHP said the other driver, who was thought to be driving a Nissan, had left the scene.
The 38-year-old woman was taken to a Topeka hospital for treatment of suspected serious injuries. She was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, according to the KHP crash log.
