Dine 909: The Stout House in Upland is celebrating its 6th anniversary

The Stout House brewery in Upland is celebrating its sixth anniversary this weekend, Nov. 16 and 17.
The festivities begin with a VIP Happy Hour from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16.
Tickets to the event include a 20-ounce commemorative anniversary glass, a complimentary pour of the brewery’s limited-release barrel-aged anniversary beer, a sixth-anniversary sticker, live entertainment and 20-ounce pours for the price of 16-ounce pours all weekend long.

Both days will feature special beer releases, new merchandise and live entertainment.
Food will be available from Taqueria Mazatlán, Crispy Piez, Chalk Baking and The Chan Smokers.
The Stout House is at 1294 W. Ninth St.
More brewery changes
The Inland Empire brewery scene continues to experience change.
Ironfire Brewing Company in Temecula has been sold.
The brewery will become home to Prolific Brewing Company.
Ironfire previously had a taproom in Old Town Temecula, which closed in 2023.
The announcement follows the recent sale of Strum Brewing Co. in Ontario and Kings Brewing Co.’s decision to move out of its Rancho Cucamonga location.
Customers will have a chance to say goodbye to Ironfire’s John, Greg and Aubree from 2-7 p.m. on Black Friday, Nov. 29. Food will be available from the Temecula Grilled Cheese Co.
Ironfire is at 42095 Zevo Drive, Suite 1.
Philz Coffee opens in Claremont
Philz Coffee is now open in Claremont.
Hours are 6:30 a.m.-9 p.m. Sunday, 6 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 6 a.m.-9 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
The new location, 330 W. Bonita Ave., joins a location in Victoria Gardens (12448 North Mainstreet) that opened last month.
New in Redlands
A new Vietnamese restaurant has opened in north Redlands.
Saigon Delights can be found at 32 W. Colton Ave.
The restaurant offers a variety of Vietnamese dishes, from phở to bánh mi, along with rice and noodle entrées.
Hours are 7 a.m.-6 p.m. daily.
Prime rib beer pairing dinner
Reservations are available now for the next BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse beer-pairing dinner, set for 6:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 9.
The four-course prime rib dinner will feature winter beers.
The menu is as follows.
Welcome beer: BJ’s 25th Annual Grand Cru
Course 1: Sriracha queso dip paired with Sierra Nevada Celebration IPA
Course 2: House salad with balsamic dressing paired with Shiner Holiday Cheer
Palate cleanser: N’ice Chouffe
Course 3: Prime rib with white cheddar mashed potatoes and roasted asparagus paired with Deschutes Jubelale.
Course 4: A mini salted caramel Pizookie paired with Delirium Noël
The cost is $45 in advance, and will be $50 the day of, if available. The cost for designated drivers is $30 in advance, and $35 the day of.

Mitas Mexican Food has closed in north San Bernardino.
Mitas opened last year.
Also, The Lost Cajun has closed in Rancho Cucamonga.
The restaurant, formerly at 8158 Day Creek Blvd., Suite 120, opened in 2022.
It was the only California location for the chain, which has locations in Colorado, South Carolina and Texas.
Signage is up at the site indicating Ji Noodle House is coming soon.
