Man charged with disorderly conduct at Coventry polling location faces judge

COVENTRY, R.I. (WLNE) — A man charged with disorderly conduct at a polling location in Coventry last week faced a judge this morning.
Timothy Masse was arrested after he allegedly yelled obscenities and vulgar remarks to voters, election officials, and campaign workers.
The Coventry Police Department released body cam footage from an Election Day, showing Masse standing outside outside Maple Root Baptist Church wearing a shirt that said “Kamala Sucks.”
A woman at in the video told officers that Masse “yelled at her” as she went to vote and used vulgar language.
“That’s America, that’s why we have America,” he said in the video after using an obscenity when speaking about Vice President Kamala Harris.
He also said that he wasn’t yelling at people when asked by an officer.
Masse also allegedly told a man that his 14-year-old daughter “would have her breasts cut off and become a man.”
He was released on $1,000 personal recognizance, and ordered to seek pre-trial counseling services.
His next court date is January 8.
