EXETER, R.I. (WPRI) — With dry conditions expected to continue this week, crews are working to extinguish another brush fire off the highway in Exeter. The fire broke out Wednesday morning along I-95 South near the Exeter-West Greenwich line. Firefighters are spraying water in the wooded area nearby, which is impacting the flow of traffic. Fire weather forecast: What’s the risk level right now? 12 News has a crew at the scene gathering more information. Firefighters also returned Wednesday to the woods off of Lydia and Jade roads in Coventry. They're working to make sure a brush fire that burned as much as two acres on Tuesday doesn't flare back up.
