EXETER, R.I. (WPRI) — With dry conditions expected to continue this week, crews are working to extinguish another brush fire off the highway in Exeter. The fire broke out Wednesday morning along I-95 South near the Exeter-West Greenwich line. Firefighters are spraying water in the wooded area nearby, which is impacting the flow of traffic. Firefighters also returned Wednesday to the woods off of Lydia and Jade roads in Coventry. They're working to make sure a brush fire that burned as much as two acres on Tuesday doesn't flare back up.
