SLIDELL, La. (WGNO) — A man was arrested after a traffic stop led to a drug bust in Slidell.

The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office reported that deputies pulled over 65-year-old Eugene McKnight for a traffic stop in the 1500 block of Gause Boulevard after seeing a car driving with no headlights.
During the stop, STPSO detectives said they allegedly found McKnight to be in possession of about 65.7 grams of suspected crack cocaine, 39.9 grams of suspected powder cocaine, 39.9 grams of marijuana, 13.2 grams of suspected methamphetamine and 2.8 grams of suspected fentanyl powder.

STPSO deputies said they also found $1,623 and a loaded gun.

McKnight was arrested and faces the following charges:
Head lamps
Five counts of possession with intent to distribute schedule II CDS
Possession with intent to distribute schedule I CDS
Transactions involving proceeds from drug offense
Felon in possession of a firearm
Possession of a firearm in the presence of a CDS
Two counts of possession of schedule IV CDS
Possession of a legend drug without a valid prescription
