MAXTON, N.C. (WBTW) — Bond was denied Tuesday afternoon for a man accused of shooting and killing a 7-year-old girl in Maxton over the weekend. Dedric Page, 31, of Maxton, was not given bond on his first-degree murder or discharging a weapon into occupied property charges. He was given a $100,000 secured bond on his possession of a firearm by a felon charge and a $1,000 bond on his discharging a weapon inside city limits charge.
