Nov 13, 2024
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — It will be a chilly start to kick off Wednesday here in Western New York. Although you may need a jacket heading out the door this morning, the sun will be out and shining all day long. Skies are expected to remain mostly clear throughout the day as temperatures rise into the mid to upper 40s. Clouds will start to move back in during the overnight hours, allowing for temperatures to only drop into the upper 30s for lows.
We will start off cloudy and a bit warmer on Thursday. These clouds will dominate our skies for the duration of the day as temperatures climb into the upper 40s. Rain is expected to move into area briefly after dinnertime. However, the rain will not reach all of Western NY. Those east of Rochester will have a harder time seeing the rain. The wet weather will move out of the area during the overnight hours.
Clouds hang around to start off Friday, but we will be dry. These clouds are expected to move out of the area throughout the day, leaving us with mostly clear skies for the afternoon hours. Temperatures will gradually climb into the upper 40s, potentially kissing the 50° mark.
Both weekend days look to remain dry and on the warmer side. Mixed skies are expected for Saturday with more clouds moving in for Sunday. Although we may have to deal with clouds, temperatures for both days are expected to climb into the low to mid 50s for highs.
Trends are lending towards a wet start to next week. Scattered showers are expected to impact the area Monday and into Tuesday. However, temperatures will remain on the warmer side, reach the low to mid 50s for both days. Those showers seem to linger into Wednesday and Thursday as well.
