BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- Bakersfield police officials said the 15-year-old suspected in the deadly shooting Sunday at The Marketplace has turned himself in to police. Bakersfield Police Department officials told 17 News, Albert Briseno Jr., 15, turned himself in to authorities Tuesday afternoon. RELATED: Teenager killed in Marketplace shooting Briseno was wanted in the shooting death of Prince Michael Banner, 15. Banner was shot and wounded at The Marketplace in a parking lot behind a movie theater. Banner was taken to Kern Medical where he was pronounced dead. Officials said the investigation remains active. Anyone with information is asked to call the Bakersfield Police Department at 661-327-7111 or Det. P. Richardi at 661-326-3858. A GoFundMe has been created to support Banner's family following his death. The fundraiser site states, "Though his parents have not asked for anything, they were not prepared for this event by any means."
