FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - There will be a Tamale Festival at Fresno's River Park Farmer's Market in December. Organizers with the farmers market say there will be a "delicious feast" of dozens of different tamale creations, representing dozens of family recipes passed down for many decades. According to organizers, people can enjoy more than 20 freshly steamed, unique authentic recipes prepared by Mexican and Central American chefs. Organizers say there will be a free kids zone and admission is free. Parking is also free. The Tamale Festival will be on Dec. 3 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the River Park Farmer's Market at 220 E. Paseo Del Centro.
