WILBRAHAM, Mass. (WWLP) - Lia Toyota and the community partnered together to join the fight against breast cancer and raise money for a good cause.
Lia Toyota participated in the American Cancer Society's "Real Men Wear Pink" campaign working with local partners and their customers to raise money throughout October. They were able to raise a total of $7,500 to support the fight against breast cancer and support ASC programs for cancer research, patient services, and education.

Lia Toyota General Manager Riley Campbell presented a check to the Cancer Society. The dealership says it's important to raise money for a cause like this that will help those in the community who are battling the disease.
Stephen Morelli told 22News why it's important to raise money for a cause like this, "Unfortunately, one in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. This is for those 300,000 diagnoses that will happen in this year alone so it is very important to raise awareness, and have the conversations."
Lia Toyota says these efforts were all about giving back to the community. These funds will help the cancer society to continue to provide support for patients with the disease and help to prevent future cancer diagnoses.
