(WFRV) - With the nine-day deer gun hunting season approaching, the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) issued a reminder on what participants are required to wear while out hunting. The season begins on Nov. 23 and runs through Dec. 1, and those who are hunting are required to abide by specific regulations regarding clothing. Tork and Green Bay Packers partner to donate $28k in hygiene products to Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin All non-waterfowl hunters must: Wear at least 50% blaze orange or fluorescent pink above the waist Hats or hoodies also need to follow the same guidelines Public land users are highly encouraged to wear orange or fluorescent pink during any hunting season as well. If hunting with a dog or other animal, it is recommended that they also wear blaze orange or fluorescent pink, whether it be a bandana or vest. More safety tips are available on the DNR's website.
