WELLS COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) -- The Wells County Sheriff's Office is asking for information on an armed robbery where the suspect appears to be linked to another armed robbery in Huntington County. On Tuesday afternoon, the Wells County Sheriff's Office posted on its Facebook page about an armed robbery that happened early that morning at a gas station in Liberty City, which is southwest of Bluffton. The suspect reportedly brandished a gun and demanded all the money in the cash register. After the incident, the suspect drove off in a black pickup truck heading north on County Road 300 West. Huntington County Sheriff’s Department looking for armed robbery suspect The suspect was described as a young Black male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt. Two photos accompanied the Facebook post, and one of the photos was identical to what the Huntington County Sheriff's Office shared regarding an armed robbery that happened Nov. 7. That armed robbery took place at a gas station in Andrews. Anyone with information on Tuesday's armed robbery should contact the Wells County Sheriff's Office.
