HICKSVILLE, Ohio (WANE) The person found dead after a Saturday night fire in a building that housed apartments above a restaurant in Hicksville, Ohio has been identified. The Hicksville Police Department identified the victim Tuesday afternoon as 77-year-old Neil Bickhard. The Hicksville Police Department began receiving reports of the fire at 6:21 p.m. in the apartments located near the intersection of West High Street and South Main Street in downtown Hicksville. Hicksville Police Sergeant, Craig Doctor confirmed that one man died in an apartment located above the Subway. There were no other injuries. The Hicksville Police Department was assisted by the Sherwood Fire Department, the Farmer Fire Department and the Defiance County Sheriff's Office. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
