(CNN)– A new study highlights loopholes that could let kids bypass online regulations to buy e-cigarettes. You have to be 21 to buy tobacco products, and retailers are required to verify with photo ID’s. And an ID scan is required to accept such deliveries. Also, flavored tobacco product sales are restricted in 8 states and hundreds of municipalities. In the study, researchers looked at attempts to buy flavored nicotine vaping products from 78 websites, and have them delivered to private homes. They found among 105 deliveries, delivery personnel scanned the package receiver’s ID only one time. Categories: News
