CHARLOTTE, NC – The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is investigating a deadly shooting in southwest Charlotte. Police were dispatched to an assault with a deadly weapon call at the Circle K on South Tryon Street around 3:30 Tuesday Morning. When they arrived, they found 22-year-old Apree Leak with a gunshot wound.  Detectives believe someone drove Leak to the gas station after he was shot somewhere else. MEDIC took the shooting victim to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
